  1. Prayerlessness comes from the fact that Christians don’t want to pray.

  2. I think the deeper question is if a Christian does not want to pray can that possibly be Christian? Praying is like breathing to a true believer. Granted, there are times in the believer’s life that prayer is hindered and believers fall (or jump) into sin and there is a season of lack of prayer but the life of a true believer is undoubtably marked by a lifestyle of prayer.

  3. I guess for some Christians, they don’t recognise that prayer is breathing. They have never been taught, or they have missed it in the Bible.

The life of Jesus shows us how He would spend nights in prayer. We have problems managing 1 hour.

Prayer should not be based on feelings, though for some, it does.

    Thanks for the quote.

  4. Jay, not sure if I was supposed to laugh at the quote or find it troubling due to it’s accuracy. Either way, great quote! David
