As awesome and silencing this discription is of that Glorious Day of Jesus' return, it would not even come close to the actual "Event". All of creation will be in awe and speechless when Jesus is revealed to come for His bride, His Church.
What an amazing God, amazing love, amazing grace, amazing "Event".
People are amazed about the "Opening Ceremonies" of the Olympics, the Presidential inauguration ceremonies, the British Royal ceremonies, but they would not even come anywhere near of what it will be like when our Savior, Jesus Christ, returns in all His Glory and Majesty. Gettung goosebumps thinking about it.

Julie,
That is the amazement we all should be in. I like the remind myself that if God chose to only save one person in all of time that would be amazing grace. Since we are sinners and "while we were yet sinners Christ died for us" it tells us in such sweetness that it is purely because of God's love that He sent His Son to die for us in our place. Let us humbly be reminded that our Lord Jesus did not come to the earth forced by the Father, but came completely out of love - His love for His elect. No greater love! No greater love!

Thanks for posting on my blog! Appreciate your visit!

Soli Deo Gloria!

Just wanted to mention a spelling mistake of mine.

I put 'beathtaking' rather than 'breathtaking.

Just hope anyone reading it understand that.

God bless.

Well said Dora. I do believe that many folks trifle dangerously with God. If I hear "Jesus is my homeboy" one more time I am going to lose it! Appreciate you visiting my blog and thanks for posting the comment!

Awesome article about an awesome God.

Sometimes, thinking about God can be beathtaking. And scary.

I think we toy with God. We do not take Him or His word as seriously as we should.

As we see in both Ezekiel and Revelation, when they saw God, they fell down.

It make me wonder, have we ever seen God?
