It was Gods plan of salvation, Gods decision, and Gods choice, before our sin had even existed God had decided that Jesus would die on the cross, (yes as a response to our sin), and in the garden of Gethsemane it was again God who convicted Jesus to go to his death. So its not just us, its more God, but probably a combination of the two as God planned knew both the sin and death were going to happen. @Charlene Taylor
