What Will the Final Judgment Mean for You?

John Piper does an outstanding job outlining what the final judgment will be like both for the regenerate and the unregenerate.  It’s something that everyone will face and in Piper-fashion he vividly describes this final judgment with full Scriptural support.  Head on over to DesiringGod.org and enjoy….

I liked the article, though I personally am one of those folks who believe that the White Throne Judgment is for unbelievers only. There is, admittedly, allowable controversy among believers about the details of the final judgment. Interpretations of Matt. 25:31-36, 2 Cor. 5:10, and Rev. 20:11-15 vary a little, but that’s ok. The important thing is that Jesus is returning, He will execute His justice, and we will all have to give an account of our lives. Most importantly, those of us who have trusted in Him as our Savior will have nothing to fear when that time comes.
